Collection contains applications to the Society of Stukely Wescott Descendants of America from 1937-1975, a gathering of ancestral charts and notes compiled by Dorothea's Mother (Theodora Cogswell), Grandfather (Edward Russell Cogswell), and E.R.C's uncle (Edward Russell). Collection includes 139 original documents dating from 1647 to 1864 including original accounts, agreements, appointments, bonds, church covenants, commissions, correspondence, court orders, deeds, minutes, mortgages, photographs, probate records, receipts, resolutions and returns, shares and slave bills of sale which have been handed down from the intertwined families of Cogswell, Russell and Northend of Gloucester, Ipswich and Rowley, Mass.
